Main responsibilities: Patient consulting, assisting patients after procedures, some administrative and secretarial support.
Available: mainly Wednesdays, Thursdays and some Fridays as required plus monthly Saturday mornings in winter at Brighton (not Monday or Tuesday)

I have been assisting Mr Self for more than six years, mostly when he consults at both Brighton and Richmond. I thoroughly enjoy providing service, support and interacting with both new and longstanding patients.

Any leisure time is preferably spent outdoors - playing tennis and golf, walking my dogs or in the garden. Family and friends are also important and I love cooking and socialising.

Main responsibilities: Managing all aspects of surgical lists including estimates, hospital bookings, surgical billing as well as weekly consulting sessions and Practice Management. I am also looking after compression stocking management and ordering.
Available: Three to four days per week – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and some Fridays.

Originally from Brisbane, I have moved from Perth WA to become the newest Secretary at Southern Vascular. For the last 8 years I have worked within the Health industry firstly in a private hospital in Brisbane followed by 3 years working for a Vascular Surgeon in Perth. I have had extensive experience with hospital admission processes and theatre bookings. I enjoy getting to know our patients through the weekly consulting sessions.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends and exploring new places.

Responsibilities: Patient consulting, typing of all correspondence and reports.
Available: Three days per week. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday.

I have worked over 40 years as a medical secretary/practice manager for a number of medical specialists either in their private rooms or hospitals, so have gained a vast knowledge of all aspects of medicine during this time. I love my job because of the variety it offers and the regular patient contact. I think I should have been a nurse. In my spare time, I enjoy visiting and playing with my grandchildren and when I need a break love to travel “anywhere”.
